Transition

Most secondary school students think moving from primary to secondary school, or from secondary school to sixth form or college are the main points of transition.

Throughout secondary school, however, there will be many points where you'll either find yourself making (what feels like) important decisions, or you find yourself moving into a new phase within your schooling. For example, choosing your options, beginning GCSE work, applying for 6th form, college or an apprenticeship, or just seeking careers guidance; these are all examples of transitions.

This section of the website is designed to help provide you with some useful information and guidance, to help you make calm, informed decisions allowing those next steps to be confident ones.
