Key Information & Welcome Videos - Year 7 Students

New Year 7 Students

Moving to secondary school can feel very daunting for many young people moving from primary school.

St Bede's is a very warm and welcoming school, where all students are valued for who they are and who they may become, in the light of Jesus Christ.

We are really focused on helping students making the transition from primary school to St Bede's as smooth and as reassuring as we can.

Our Head of Key Stage Transition (Miss Lou Patten: lpatten@stbedes.cambs.sch.uk) and school chaplain (Revd. Alexandra Clarke: chaplaincy@stbedes.cambs.sch.uk) will personally visit all of our feeder schools during the summer term to answer any questions about life at St Bede's, and allay any fears that students may have.

We have chatted with some of our new year 7 students, who share their initial thoughts with us (below):

We've also created this handy, interactive school map, which we hope will give you a little insight into where you can find some of the key features around the school.

You're welcome to visit us at any time, too; that's the best way to get a feel for our school and community!
