TERMLY FOCUS: Health and Wellbeing
YEAR 8 PSHCE DAY - Tuesday 3rd October
Year 8 students explored the risks, dangers, and avoidance strategies of legal substances such as caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, and vapes.
After learning through discussion, evaluation, and video, they gathered themselves into groups to express their learning creatively. They created:
- Role plays
- Songs
- Videos
- PowerPoints
- Booklets
- Posters
- Board games
Our senior students visited every class to judge Year 8's work. They were very impressed with the creativity and engagement, while also envious that they didn't do this when they were in Year 8.
The creative activity really helped us absorb the information in our own way.
