Absence Due to Exceptional Circumstances and Term Time Holidays
Where parents/carers feel it is absolutely unavoidable to take their child/children out of school during term time due to very exceptional circumstances, an application for term time leave must be submitted a minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the proposed date clearly explaining the circumstances. A leave of absence will not be authorised retrospectively. The leave of absence form is available by selecting the following link:
