Business Studies is an optional subject at Key Stage 4. It aims to give students an understanding of how businesses operates, including Marketing and Economics.

Students are currently studying for OCR GCSE Applied Business.Students study for one exam module in Year 10 called "Business in Action".  The Year 11 coursework module is called "Making Your Mark in Business".  This unit is dedicated to Marketing and is assessed by one Controlled Assessment, which is spread over two terms.

Specialised pupil equipment required:

All students are expected to bring a minimum of pencil, pen, ruler, calculator and their folder and textbook to every lesson.

Yr 10 – OCR Applied Business, Exam Module "Business In Action"
Yr 11 – OCR Applied Business, revision and for resit of the exam module if required, and complete Controlled Assessment
