Parliament Week - Local MP Visits Year 10 Students

Today our year 10 students welcomed Daniel Zeichner, Labour MP for Cambridge and Shadow Minister for the Environment, who took time out  of his busy day to come and visit our school as part of Parliament Week.

As always, our students were engaged and asked many insightful (and challenging) questions, ranging from Labour's stance on the environment, global affairs, voting age reform and even the current state of Cambridge traffic.

Our students thanked Daniel for giving up so much of his time to hear their questions and to shed light on the fascinating world of politics. Judging by the rapturous applause at the end, it's clear that our students appreciated the thought and evident respect given to each of the (many) questions our students posed.
