St Bede's operates a cashless system for students buying food and drink at school.  Students access their canteen accounts via fingerprint recognition at the tills.  Accounts can be checked and topped up by parents/carers using their WisePay account. To access WisePay, please click on the logo below or use the app.

At present, students can spend up to £4.35 per day on canteen food. If you would like to increase or decrease the amount your child can spend please contact our Finance Office on 01223 568816 or email

We are now able to offer choices of snacks and food in each of the year grop bubbles.  Students choose their food and pay for what they choose. Pabulum provides the catering services at St Bede's. Pabulum’s vision is to be at the forefront of improving the next generation’s health and well-being, by shaping the food culture in education that inspires a passion and love of fresh food. They feel strongly about educating the younger generation on healthy eating by providing fresh and wholesome food, as it's through a balanced diet and healthy food choices that students can maintain higher classroom concentration levels.

The Pabulum team provides fresh food through the provision of morning break and lunch service. At each service they offer a range of wraps, filled baguettes and bloomer bread sandwiches accompanied by fresh fruit and cookies.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT, due to current nationwide food shortages, there may have to be slight changes to our menus. We are doing our best to source alternative products, but this may not always be possible as particular shortages may only be communicated to us at short notice.

Parents may, of course, opt to send their children to school with a packed lunch.

Please note we are a nut-free school.

We therefore ask that parents ensure they do not include nuts of any sort in their child's packed lunch. Many thanks for your support in this matter.
