Religious Education encourages students to question the ultimate meaning and purpose of life, beliefs about God, the self and the nature of reality.

In Key Stage 3 students study Christianity with aspects of other world faiths. Questions include: What does it mean to be a member of the Christian Church? What is the message of the New Testament and how is it applied in modern society? Who is Jesus? What can we learn from the message of the Old Testament? Why is there suffering in the world? Is there life after death and if there is what is it like? How can we be better stewards in our environment? What is truth? What is reality? What does it mean to be human?

In Key Stage 4 all students are entered for the OCR: Religious Studies B. The course encourages students to extend their knowledge and understanding of various philosophical and moral issues. It also aims to develop evaluative skills to enable balanced and objective arguments.
