Geography

Geography is a dynamic subject where pupils look at how humans interact with the environment. In years 7, 8 and 9 we study a range of Human, Physical and Environmental Geography. We study topical issues in the news such as flooding, global warming, crime, the football industry, the fashion industry, fair trade, housing demand and prices together with more traditional topics such as rivers, earthquakes, volcanoes and coasts.

Geography is a popular subject at St Bede’s with 2/3rds of pupils in years 10 and 11 studying GCSE Geography. We currently follow the OCR B GCSE Geography syllabus.
