Confiscations

Confiscated Items

Confiscated items, inlcuding clothing and jewellery, will be put in secure lockers. Students will be gievn a receipt for their item and will be able to collect it from their Year Support Manager at the end of each half term. Students must produce their receipt. Parents for carers can, on production of the receipt, collect confiscated items from Reception at any time on the understanding that those items will not reappear in school.

Mobile phones must be switched off and kept out of sight during school hours, otherwise they may be confiscated. Mobile phones that are confiscated can be collected from the Head's PA; however, if a mobile phone is confiscated from a student more than once, they will need to get it back from the Headteacher in person.

Please note that headphones and music players should be kept in lockers during the schoold day. We strongly discourage students from bringing in personal and expensive items. Any objects considered dangerous or otherwise inappropriate will only be returned to parents or carers.
