Lateness and Attendance

Parents and carers are requested to inform the school each day students are sick. Students who arrive late to school will need a note from parents or carers and/or a medical note or appointment card giving the reason for lateness (eg. hospital or dental appointment). This should be given to Reception upon arrival. Should a school bus arrive at school late, students will be registered 'present' not 'late'.

Holiday Request

Parents and carers are asked to refrain from taking family holidays during term time. New Government guidelines mean that schools are very unlikely to be able to grant permission for holidays during term time, and student absences resulting from such holidays will be recorded as 'unauthorised'. The school monitors student absence carefully and has an obligation to refer absences below 95% to the Local Authority.

We do understand, however, that absences in term time are sometimes unavoidable. Should you need to request time off for your child or children, please use the form below, or request one from Mrs Penny.

Finance, Uniform and School Trips

The school's preferred method of payment for school trips etc is through WisePay; this can be accessed via the school website. Should you have any queries regarding payments, uniform or school trips, please contact the Finance Office.
